COVID-19 Update Important information about how we are handling business during COVID-19 In light of the current COVID-19 outbreak, we would like to address any potential concerns you may have regarding Alta Home On and Off Site operations. While we are informed that the risk of COVID-19 infection in Canada increases, we believe that a proactive response is the best measure to ensure that our team and our customers are safe and prepared. For the time being our service offerings and communication channels will continue to operate with additional measures of cautious and practices. We urge you to read this message and take it seriously to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. What We Do To Avoid Contracting the Virus Personal hygiene, social distancing and wearing masks when with clients and inside client's homes is our first and most important line of defence. Additionally, we urge & monitor our employees, & sub-contractors to: \t WASH or SANITIZE hands regularly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds \t WEAR a mask or protective face covering when around people and on clients premisses (homes) \t AVOID any unnecessary physical contact with animals and people \t AVOID handshakes at all time and keep social distancing when possible to at least 1.5 meters from each other and customers \t AVOID sharing any foods, cigarettes, napkins, safety glasses, personal wear/uniforms, personal tools etc. \t CARRY disposable tissues, cover the nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing \t AVOID touching the face \t AVOID high-risk areas such as airports, busy malls, public transit etc. and any gathering of over 10 people \t AVOID unnecessary travelling How do We Interact with Clients For most of the processes, there is no need for physical interactions between Alta Home personnel and our clients. If a physical interaction is required during a site visit or a final project walkthrough, we would maintain the above practices and ensure no physical contact is present In a Case, of Any of Our Personnel Feel Sick If any of our personnel experiencing any one of the following symptoms: cough, cold, sore throat, fever, tiredness, confusion, difficulties breathing, they are urged to report to their supervisor and remain off work. Being concerned and empathetic about this outbreak is normal. However, you may experience feelings of discomfort, impacting concentration, productivity and even disrupting sleep patterns. Unfortunately, serious misinformation is spread by social media.
